What is the difference between curd and Yogurt?
Yogurt and curd are both milk products both look similar and taste almost the same.
So it is natural to have the illusion that both are the same.
But there is a lot of difference between the two, such as –
Method of make
To make curd, milk is chilled after boiling to 30-40 ° C. A teaspoon of curd is added to it. Now the bacteria present in the curd start growing fast in a only some hours due to the presence of lactic acid bFreeze whole milk.
Yogurt is also prepared just like curd but two type of bacteria are added to it (lactobacillus bulgaris and streptococcus thermophilus).

The flavor of yogurt is more sour than that of yogurt, which is due to lactic acid. While yogurt is not so sour.’

A bowl of Greek yogurt contains 100–120 calories. Greek non-fat yogurt contains around 60 calories.
Yogurt – Yogurt has fewer calories than yogurt. A bowl of homemade yogurt contains 60 calories.
Nutrients
Yogurt – Yogurt is a good source of calcium, phosphorus, riboflavin-vitamin B2, iodine, vitamin B12, potassium, protein and molybdenum.

Curd – Curd is very beneficial. It contains vitamins A, E and K. Riboflavin, Thiamine, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Vitamin B12, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Silenium Saturated Fat, Fluoride, Copper, Zinc, Oleic Acid etc.
