Why tiny round buttons have jeans pockets

We are talk about these tiny buttons. I always idea that these tiny buttons would be fixed just for looks. But it is not so.

Jeans were invented for manual worker. This is because the laborers garments were often torn due to overwork. By 1850, jeans had become very fashionable in styles. But jeans still had a difficulty. Jeans use to be worn out very fast. They were often used by manual worker working in mills, factories, mines. Due to solid work and placing tools in the pockets, they either got torn or their stitching open.

For this cause, a Tailor named Jacob Davis buttoned the jeans. In this way, Nahabi became more pockets and strengthen, but rather jeans and attractive looks.

In 1870, Jacob Tailor try to get it patented but he did not have a large amount of money to patent it. He then entered into an accord with the levy company after 3 years and the levy company got it patented in its name. Then in 1880, this patent became public and now anyone can use it. Till today, our jeans have little buttons due to the same practice.
