Using some effective methods and strategies can bring them back to their habitual functioning.

  3. Using an anti-inflammatory like tea tree oil is used well for reducing oil produced by sebaceous glands. Rinse your hair after washing them with a few drops of apple cider vinegar.
  4. Wash your hair cautiously. Keep a check on whether your hair is naturally oily or dry. If your hair is more oily, wash your hair daily or on alternative days. If your hair is dry, you can wash them twice or thrice a week. It is advised by trichologists in Islamabad that don’t over wash your hair. It can cause the protective to wash away.
  5. Treat silicone as your woe. Most hair products like shampoos, styling products, and conditioners have silicone as a vital ingredient. Take care of your hair and don’t get near to such products.
  6. Beware of the dirt stuck in your hairbrush. Clean your brush daily after brushing your hair. You can clean your styling products by using your hair shampoo. Avoid brushing your wet hair and let them dry.
  7. Avoid twirling your hair. Playing with them can weaken the hair follicles and cause more hair fall. Thus, be gentle with your hair. More playing and touching your hair can stimulate the sebaceous glands too. It can lead to the production of excessive oil.
  8. You can make a DIY shampoo by yourself. It will avoid the risk of being prone to dangerous chemicals. Using an aloe vera gel, cornstarch or baby powder can work as a dry shampoo.
  9. Deep hydration can help to fight an oily scalp. It can be done by using coconut oil.
  10. Prepare a mask using honey and apply it twice a week. Honey is popular for protecting the scalp and washes away dandruff from your hair.
  11. Use some head accessories to avoid heat up during hats and helmet wearing. After wearing such headbands and scarves, try to wash your hair.
  12. Green tea is the most efficient beverage of all. You can search for a shampoo that has green tea as an ingredient. It has been proved that green tea helps in preventing oil production by sebaceous glands.
  13. Try to wash your hair after your gym hours. Sweat can promote oil in your scalp and can cause greasiness in your hair.
  14. Use hair masks made of eggs and bananas. They can act as the best natural remedy for treating oily scalp.
  15. Applying conditioner can help to fight excessive oil. Try using more conditioner and less shampoo. Furthermore, use a conditioner at your hair ends and not at your scalp. More conditioner at the scalp can promote more oil.
