I usually don’t presume much. I prefer to keep the notions at bay. But being a human being, it’s tough for me or anyone to avoid the preconceived notions. This time though, the intention was to kill those premature judgments and opinions about the whole concept of working-from-home (WFH). A friend of mine is based in Burnley and works for a financial institution. When I rang him up to enquire about his well-being, he said that he was as hale and hearty as ever. She’s based in Sydney, and her response was quite identical to my other friend. “Not even once did my back or spine ache when I edited one news piece after the other. From whatever I could gather from my friends’ responses, ergonomic furniture is not just any other piece of office furniture.
