Anulom Antonym is a kind of pranayama which is done by giving relief too many diseases. In this, anulom means straight and inverse means reverse. The anulom inverse consists of repeated breathing and exhalation procedures.
But we also do this action in three ways – 1. Complement, 2. Kumbhak and 3. Rechak.

1. Supplement

Breathing in slowly or at a controlled pace is called supplementation.

2. Kumbha

Kumbhak is the process of stopping the inhaled breath according to capacity.

3. Laxative

The action of inhaling the breath slowly or at a controlled pace is called laxative.
Thus, doing all three processes at a controlled pace is called anulom-antonyms.

Steps of reverse inversion 

Spread a carpet in an open air.

Now sit on the stool with your waist straight and hitting the flat plate.

Now close the right nostril with the thumb of the right hand and pull the breath inward slowly from the left nostril and then slowly open the closed nostrils i.e. the right nostril and release the breath outward slowly.

Similarly, now close the left nasal hole with the thumb of the left hand and slowly draw the breath inward from the right nostril and then open the closed nose slowly, leaving the breath outward.

Thus, do this procedure at least 10 to 12 times.
