Usually, when decorating a meeting, we only think about our choice and desire and we do not notice the mistakes made from the design point of view.

If you will pay attention to the common mistakes made while decorating the meeting, then you can use your creativity in a more productive way. It can be anything from small things of decoration to basic structure of the house.

Keep the design flexible so that it can be changed when needed. Also, consider these common mistakes which we often make while decorating the house.

Lighting

Lighting, if not properly arranged, lighting will spoil the decor of your room. Make sure there is light on each side. Putting only one light up is the biggest mistake in decoration. It is a good idea to use LED lights on unrealistic ceilings.

Wrong carpet

Always note that your carpet matches well with the room size and texture. Also be careful when choosing a color.

Positioning

Ensure that all furniture is properly placed. One of the common mistakes in home decoration is to place the TV in the wrong place.

Wall and sofa

Placing the sofa on the wall is another major mistake. If you think this will make the waist bigger, then note that you are spoiling the decoration of your meeting.

Dark colors:

Using dark colors on the wall will make the room smaller and worse. If you want to do a darker color, use it on one wall and use a lighter color on all other walls.

Fashioned setting says that “old things are gold goods”, this is not always true in the case of old-fashioned furniture. So, use the latest design to decorate the meeting.

Ignoring the main purpose of the meeting

Eventually the main use of your meeting is going to be to welcome visiting guests and to spend your free time comfortably. Do not make it an all-function room where all things like eating, drinking, sleeping, working, exercising or setting your office table are done.

Making more decoration than the main room makes it awkward. Making the meeting an art gallery is a common mistake most people make. Use minimal furniture and arrange it well.

Curtain

Window length curtains are now out of fashion. Use curtains up to the ground length and place the curtain rods in a slightly higher position. This will help to give your meeting a huge and luxurious appearance.
