India with its rich natural biodiversity has recently emerged as a popular spot for adventure tourism. The adventure tourism industry in India has grown rapidly in the past few years, and continues to do so as more and more travellers visit the popular adventurous destinations in large numbers every year.

Leh Ladakh Bike trip:

An adventurous and thrilling bike trip along the swirling roads in Ladakh is every biker’s dream. One of the most sought after bike trips in the country, the Leh Ladakh bike trip will lead one through the snow laden mountains along with dense forests, valleys and streams. Major attractions of the trip also include the Khardung la Pass (world’s highest all season motor-able road), the Pangong lake (world’s highest saltwater lake) and the Cyclop’s hill (popularly known as the Magnetic Hill).

Chadar trek, Ladakh:

Spiti Valley trek, Himachal Pradesh:

Rishikesh, Uttarakhand:

With an altitude of about 6,153 metres, the Stok Kangri mountain peak is the highest peak in the Stok range of the Zanskar mountains in the Himalayas. One of the most challenging treks in the country, the Stok Kangri trek is quite popular among mountaineers despite its high altitude and adverse conditions. The trek offers stunning views of the entire Zanskar range along with the Indus and Markha valley. Manali to Leh bike trip:

A full adventure ride from the Lush green valleys of Himachal Pradesh to the barren and semi- arid valleys of Ladakh, the Manali to Leh bike trip is easily one of the most famous bike trips in the country. Kedarkantha trek, Uttarakhand:

Forming the core of the Nanda Devi Biosphere, the Kedarkantha peak in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand is best known for its stunning views of the Garhwal Himalayas, like the Swargarohini peaks, Bandarpoonch, Black Peak and the Ranglana peak in the Yamunotri and Gangotri ranges. One of the most famous treks in the country, the Kedarkantha trek can be ideally visited during the winter months of December to April.

Sikkim:
